Firm History

The Law Firm of Wruck & Wruck was first established as a general law practice in 1949 by Ernest G. Wruck.

Ernest G. Wruck was very active in civic and community activities in Patchogue, Bellport and Brookhaven. Later in life, Mr. Wruck also served as Justice of the Peace in the Town of Brookhaven.

In 1984, Wruck’s son, Ernest R. Wruck, joined his father in the law practice and continued the family’s tradition. After having served in the Suffolk County Surrogate’s Court as legal counsel, the firm’s practice slowly evolved from general law to provide a concentration in estates administration, probate and real estate.

In 2008, Patchogue attorney, Bruce T. Wallace (formerly of Roe, Wallace, Esteve, Taroff & Taitz, LLP and Pelletreau & Pelletreau LLP), with over 30 years of experience in banking, real estate and trusts & estate matters, joined the firm. The practice was re-named Wruck & Wallace.

In 2017 Bruce Wallave retired and Ernest R. Wruck relocated the firm to Bellport Village.

The Law Office of Ernest R. Wruck is one of Suffolk County’s leading trusts and estates and real estate law firms.
